Background story: Golden dragons are another legendary creature, they are thought to be extinct, however one baby golden dragon has been spotted around the Valley of Fire region. His body glistens in the sunlight and leaves a golden trail behind him that lasts for a few minutes. They are thought to bring wealth.
Back from a long break from making dragons, this is my first dragon I have made in quite a few months. I took a break to do a bit of research and better my dragon sculpts. I wanted to make the wings more realistic and poseable.
Aurum is made from faux fur, and his wings are made from faux suede with a wire armature and can be posed in different positions. I decided to give him turquoise eyes as it compliments the gold tone while still standing out. His horns are made from a durable air dry clay, so they are less fragile.
